I DONT REMEMBER

Temagami

Deep inside this Canadian jungle
If the ground is wet and the bugs are swarming
If the crackle of the fire is very warming
If the nights are black the days are bright
If the eagles fly over the water
If the muddied swamps give you trouble
If the wind keeps you stuck somewhere
Just keep on going you are almost there
Just keep paddling
Just keep walking
Don’t stop until its done
The journey has just begun
The dock is near
The bells I hear
the dogs are barking
the paddles are splashing

Andrew I really like your poem. It's very strong and conjures up a realistic image of Temagami.

I think the end of the poem leaves a space for a very strong line. Like Were Here or were back or weve done it. There are many stronger ways you could end this poem. Other than that very good!
