Dogs, snow and wood
Your three companions
Dogs pull the wood
The wood glides on the snow
And the dogs run on the snow
Dogs keep everything going
Just like ourselves
They just keep on going
Running because they enjoy it
Running because we don’t
Snow becoming a washroom
Dogs are king
They just sit there, look around
And howl
The stinky smell of excrement
The enjoyable sensation of dog fur
They work to get us somewhere
And what is their paycheck?
Food and shelter(normally)
The snow they run on
Wood keeps everything you own
Like a banker, wood holds you too
Wood doesn’t take it only gives
It gives us heat, gives us
A mode of transportation
And then there is snow
The gliding surface we travel on
So all of these things work
To get us somewhere
And they just keep giving effort
While we do nothing

A boy becomes a man
When he can make his own decisions
When he believes he is a man
When he has survived the toils of school
When he can firmly say that he has experienced
The tougher things in life
When he makes others believe he is a man
When anyone insults you,
You just smile back and know
That you’re bigger than them
When your profession is something you enjoy
When you lose friendsNot because they don’t like you
But they have no time to see you
You may gain money as an adult
But you lose lots of friends
You may gain freedom from your parents rules
But you lose the freedom of ignorance

Men/Boy

A man has less freedom than a boy because he has to pay the bills and boys just worry about if there is any food to eat or if they get bored. Men have more responsibilities.Men have more respect. Mens choices are more important because they affect more people.

Dog Sledding

Holding the dogs down
annoying and tiring
on the sled just gliding along
nothing dry just wet
work together
sprinting, walking crawling
smoke and wood
are your companions
strangers become friends
cant give up
cant give in
just keep going
push the dogs
congradulate them
encourage them
